FB, Twitter

omg. i cant believe just a click of a button. MY WHOLE POST IS GONE!! i feel like smashing my laptop now! (*$(&#%P(^&#(^&P#&^P#&

i stumbled across that video when i was browsing through my facebook account. i supposed fb and twitter are like the hype amongst youngsters nowadays. they rant, convey their thoughts through this social networking websites more than telling those thoughts to their parents or friends. the video actually showed that a parent signed up for accounts in fb and twitter just to keep track of whatever her child is doing. hahah.

actually, my mum has a fb account. hahah. but she's not like the parent in the video. at least my mum doesnt stalk me. or maybe she does. but i dont know about it. anyway, my aunt created that account for her just for the fun of it since everyone in the world seems to have one. lol.

was wondering. will this social networking websites replace face to face interaction completely. hahaha. personally, i prefer offline community more than online community. cos' there's a lot of things u can do offline and it's much more fun as compared to online. nvm if you dont get what i am trying to say. lol.

think people in the world are soooo dependent on technology, especially the Internet. without it, it seems like it's almost impossible to survive. then we will start wondering how people in the past survive. sigh.

even my 6 yr old sister knows how to use a laptop to play her games. -.-

ok. this is my second time typing this post. i hope i am making sense. lol. these are just my thoughts. hahaha. off to my lalaland!

goodnight world! :D

Reminiscence, kinship

"The family is one of nature's masterpieces." ~George Santayana, The Life of Reason

Hellooooo world. :D

I went tomb sweeping yesterday with my family. The temple was filled with people even though it was raining heavily. I was there to "look for" my great grandmother whose delicate face is still engrained in my mind. She passed away when i was 12. I remembered her standing at the corridor waiting for me and my cousins to arrive every sunday. she will wave to us from the seventh floor down to the first floor when we go home. though we dont really communicate much with her, but without her presence made me feel weird.

My great grandmother lived till a ripe old age of 95 years old. It's a bliss to be able to meet her, a lot of my friends dont even get to see their great grandparents.

Somehow the visit every year reminded me of the importance of family. Life is unexpected. We have to cherish the moments and not regret later. I blamed myself for bickering with my parents and siblings at times. When i saw strands of white hair started growing out of my dad's head, i felt a tinge of sadness at that moment. haha. a lot of us take our family members for granted, quarrel with our parents; sometimes even dislikes (hate is too strong a word to be used. haha) them. my dad ever told me "next time when u become a parent u will know exactly how it feels." haha.
It kinda made me think for a moment. :D

come to think of it, I never hugged or kiss or say "i love you" to my parents since long ago. I used to do that when i was young. haha. supposed its much tougher to do all those now. I dont know why. maybe its a thought worth thinking about. lol.

okie! i'm going to end my blogpost here~
Just random thoughts. haha.

Off to get some work done! :D
